Still Sick
Oh, wow...I didn't write for the last couple of days, because I had a pretty busy schedule. First, there was that game at Baldwin Park, which we got killed by 7 to 14 (that's pretty sad...T.T and they're very good) and when we came back, I was too tired to talk about my life. Then, after that day, my brother hogged the laptop so I can't use it for anything, even Mr. Brown's notes. And finally, I was sick last Saturday.
Yup, I was one of the people that caught the cold. I had to stay home for the whole day and I couldn't even go outside! My throat was hurting so bad, but it was way, WAY better than last year. Last year SUCKED! I HATED it. And you know what's even worse? It was on Valentine's Day last year. I couldn't talk or laugh or anything! I was suffering!!! Now, this year, I'm very careful about what I eat. I WOULDN'T want it to be like last year (but last year I got to stay home! ^.^) Back to my little diet to keep my cold from being worse.....I decided not to eat any fried foods, chips, ice cream, ice (duh), and what else? Oh yeah, and pizza, which I got sick of because I had to eat it everyday. Luckily, all of that paid off, because I'm feeling better. Well, except for a couple of major coughs that hurts my throat if I laugh too hard...(one of my weaknesses: feeling pain in the throat). Hope my friends won't use that against me...

We WON!!!
Not today, since today is Saturday, but still...WE WON!!! I was sooo happy that we won (even though Samuel and I lost in the mix-match....T.T but I won in the girls' doubles!!) We played at La Puente High and it was pretty fun. That was because Nadezna was there! I missed her and I guess I regretted not calling her once in a while....(the real Jocelyn strikes again!) I didn't write in the last couple of days, because we had to take the CAHSEE and I had to do the noted that was due last Friday (the day we played against La Puente). But oh, well! I did a blag for today and I guess this is the end...I wonder when the next game is going to be (if it's not on the 23rd...)?

Describe the Real Jocelyn Chan
Well, the good day is now over and the bad day (err...bad night) has taken over, because my aunt came back from Denmark from a three week trip. If you think that she's one of those mean aunts, suprisingly, she's not. She's actually very nice and loving. But, at ten, she came back and my dad called my grandma's house (my aunt still lives there) and my family talked to them. All of them except for me. At that time, I had no time for talk, because I had a LOT of work to do. I had to fold the clothes, dry them, wash them, and dye my lazy brother's jeans. Well, this may seem a little sad, but I didn't say hi to my aunt. I was in my own little world wondering what I should do next. Just an hour ago, my dad was pretty pissed, because I didn't say a word to my aunt. He was saying that when she still had her job, she bought me toys and food. Now, since she doesn't have her job anymore, she still gives me her love.
It pains me to write this, but I wasn't that excited when she got home. I don't know what happened to me. All of the sudden, I;m all heartless and cold towards my family. From my earliest memories, I remembered me playiing chinese chess and games with them. That feeling is now gone and now, I don't know who I am. I think I've turned into a cat that is too independent and cold. When I want to be loved, I get loved. When I want to be left alone, people leave me alone. Now, try describing the real Jocelyn Chan.

Hello, Sunshine!
It's a good day today, mate! One question, when have I become Australian? Oh well, that's not the subject, anyways. There wasn't anything bad, or special today. It's just another day when I have to wake up with the sun in my face. To tell you the truth, sometimes I love the sun, but sometime's I don't. I hate the heat, but I love the shine. I like weather when it's breezy, but there's the sun, warming us with its everlasting heater (sounds weird, but hey what can I say?) I like winter, too, but only when there's a fireplace.

Go AWAY!!!! (love them, but don't like them....)
Ugh. Go away and leave me alone.
Don't talk to me, don't bother me.
Don't rely on me, don't argue with me.
Just go away and leave me alone.
What a prison I'm living in!
Never gonna escape.
Nope! No hero in a cape!
Just me and my annoying kin.

First Game
Well, today was pretty fun (and tiring), because we had our first game today. We played against Bassett and they were pretty good. I guess they pretty much killed us because we lost. But, in the mix-matches games, Nick and I won and I'm so happy, but our team lost. I guess they won 13 games and we only won 8. How pitiful...But oh well! I had fun anyways and no one likes a bad sport! I'm not that sad that we lost because, now, I know what to do!!!

There's Gonna Be a Game! and it's tomorrow....T~T
Wow...I guess practice went by pretty fast, because today, we have a game...I'm nervous, but I'm excited at the same time. I've had this feeling before and that was last year when Mr, Gable, my creepy, mean, and bitchy drama teacher, told us that we had to perform. At the time, I was just a freshman (-scoffs- a tall one, too) and I didn't really know what to do. When it was my (and Kalene, since she was performing with me....BWAHAHAHAHA!!!! -hides from Kalene-) turn to go up, I felt a bit nervous, but I was confident in myself. I told myself to do this and my more confident and strong side pushed me forward since the shy part of me hide in the corner. Well, that's what is happening now. Well, if I get to play (which I'm very happy since I'm not number two or one...I'm number three!!!!! Kalene better not get hurt and Gabby better come).
Through all of the excitement I'm having, I have to the DMV stuff for my dad...To tell you the truth, I think he is REALLY lazy (even though he admits he's not, but I think he's just lying...).

Broken Pieces
Break my arms and legs,
Head and ribs.
It doesn't matter.
Because it will all mend itself.
Break my heart and soul,
Spirit and happiness.
It does matter,
Because it will never mend itself.
You can never help me pick them up.
You will never help me pick them up.
I can never beg you to help me pick them up.
I will never beg you to help me pick them up.
Yes, just stare at me pick up my broken pieces.
You can laugh but I don't care.
When I'm done,
Don't make me drop them.

It's Fun, but NOT Fun

Painting the gate is fun, but it gets tiring if you keep on painting for 4 straight hours...especially if your standing right next to my brother or my mom. Yesterday, they paint fast, but they paint sloppy. Well, only my mom, but my bro here did that on the last few bars on the gate. You might be wondering why my whole family (except for the dogs) have to paint the gate. It's because we received a complaint that our backyard is messy and our gate is rusty, so we have to clean it up and put on a fresh coat of paint on the gate (HEY! That rhymes... o.0). If you think about it, it would be a challenge to paint a couple yards of rusty bars with rings at the bottom. If you're actually think about right now, then mind as well finishing off for my family and me (heh, just kidding). My dad didn't paint much, because he ran off somewhere talking to my uncle, who is related by marriage, and my mom didn't notice because she was gaining the knowledge of family gossip. That pretty much leaves out me and my brother, who actually painted the gate.
When we were almost done, we gave up and left a little section of it for tomorrow (which applies to today). You should see Eric's hands, they were all black and covered with paint. Then, I looked at MY hands and I saw little, tiny black spots of paint on my whole right arm. I knew that it was my brother who caused it, because I'm not stupid enough to cover my whole arm with paint. It was a good thing it wasn't permanent, because if it was, then I'm gonna have for a long time (even in school....).

Stolen Money
No, it's not me who was the victim of having their money stolen. It was my little, immature brother. Well, sometimes, he's not immature, but who cares. Anyways, yup! It was my borther who got his money stolen. Pretty sad, because I think he was saving it for Monday or Tuesday. I have to admit, he is a jerk, but there are times when you have to feel sorry for once in his lifetime. I think I'm too sympathetic, because most people see us two as not-loving brother and sister and, really, we're actually not. If I told him to put his money in his backpack, he wouldn't get his money stolen, and the culprit wouldn't have seen the money. It's a good thing my brother lost three dollars (BUT IT'S STILL MONEY!!! >o< ) and not ten or twenty.
My brother suspected that it was the guy that we all hate, but you have to think of it this way. What if it's not him? That guy can be a bother, but he might have not taken the money. It would probably be someone else. I think that my borther (and other people) should not judge other people. I know sometimes I do, but I don't expect them to steal anything. You've got to find the facts first and then you can suspect. You can't just go around and guess who stole it, letting the true theif get away. I don't really know who stole the money, but I know that some how, they felt guilty in their hearts.

Nothing new....
Well, there was nothing new today, except for the fact that Kalene almost got hit (or got hit) by the birdie, which was pretty funny.... :) *sigh* If she reads this, I think she might kill me. Oh, well, I'm always killed (figuratively, because if it's for real, then I'm a zombie, which I say would be really cool...BOO!! Wait, that's for ghosts....).

The Atlantic Slave Trade
What a good day today (or this morning)! Mr. Divine, my PE teacher, let us out early, because it was "sprinkling" and the gym was occupied by the rally peoples.... That is until Mr. Brown showed us a clip on how the Africans were forced to the Americas.
It all started when a guy was walking in a rainforest with the other men in his village. Suddenly, a net fell and as the captured man struggled, the men started beating him up and then he stopped his struggling. After that, they took him to a ship. THE DEADLY and NON-WONDERFUL ship. The traders treated all of the Africans like shit. I mean, they shoved the Africans and one of the people was shot for no apparant reason. The unfortunate villagers were arranged like cargo and some of them died of suffacation or disease. The traders barely gave them any food, too. Even if they did, they didn't give them any plates or bowls or spoons to use. Instead, they gave them nothing and poured the food onto their hands. In the ship, a woman died while giving birth to her child. After a while, the men were taken to a whipping and while they were being whipped, another woman commited suicide by jumping off the ship with her baby when nobody was looking, except a male slave that was witnessing the whipping. I have to hide behind one of my classmates to avoid the images, but the sounds won't go away.
The images and sounds are still in my head. I think the chiefs are selfish. They traded their own people for new weapons. That's just stupid and heartless. Well, even now, I am so traumatized and scared. Now, I'm wondering, "I'm so lucky to live in the 19th century." But then, I wonder about all the deaths and the heartbreaks that happened back then. I guess I will appreciate my life more, but I don't wish to watch that again.

wwwOOOOOOoooowwww...
Well...today wasn't any fun, because there was no rally today...I also hurt myself with my locker and it bled so much that it seeped through the frist band-aid I had....This sucks because I can't type as well because the band-aid was in the way. Oh well, I face injuries every day, so it's not THAT new to me. Oh, and today was my friend's, Gabby's, birthday. Yup, the nicest friend (once again, along with Kalene and possibly Ke). Oh, great. Now I have a HUGE headache and I can't think of anything (for homework). It seems like it was a bad day for me. Oh, yeah...I ran the mile today and guess what? I got a better time than the whole year AND last year. Eleven minutes and seventeen seconds. I know, it' s a pretty slow time, but that's okay because my chest wasn't burning and I was trying my hardest. Maybe the suicides we had to do in badminton really helped (and badminton practice).
Speaking of badminton, we don't have practice today because there was supposedly a rally today, but they postponed it to tomorrow. So, I guess there is no practice today or tomorrow. If there is practice today, then I could tell the coach that I was taking a day off and I could avoid that annoying kid.
Anyways, next Monday will be the last day to go to the Jones Reading Math Clinic (a tutoring place). Honestly, I don't really like that place, because there are mostly creepy people there who doesn't know how to explain things clearly. I don't really do the homework there either (surprise, surprise!). But still, even though I'm happy about getting fewer homework, I think I'll miss a couple people (who are normal) in there who used to teach me. There are memories there, too! Sadly, I think I'll get over it soon, but basically, I think I'm a heartless person (I think....I can be a warm, loving person if I wanted to...).

The Most Hated Guy
Arrrgggg...just typing this makes me sooo pissed! Well, the reason is, no other, is the guy in the jv badminton team. Yup! That means he's with me and my lovely friends....
Just today, we had to do drills (as usual) and I found out that I had to be partners with him for the THIRD DAY in a row! Just knowing this got me aggravated and whining. Then, my friend, Gabby, said that she'll switch with me and I wasn't so sure about it, but I still let her. In fact, I think I regretted that action I made, because that PAIN-IN-THE-ASS called her a "bitch" because she didn't quite hit the birdie over the net. Well, it barely made it over. I was like, "WHAT THE HELL!" That was pretty mean, but he deserved it. I could have said more, but the coach was right there. I mean, you don't just cuss at people just because they made a teensy-weensy mistake. You should, in fact, tell them to try harder and encourage them, not calling them a "bitch." I still cant believe he said that to GABBY. In my opinion, I think Gabby didn't deserve that, because she is the nicest person I know (along with Kalene and possibly Ke). She is always (ALWAYS) so nice to people and so....nice (yeah....can't think of another word). Well, you know...
